MINI BIO:
In her latter days, Katie Johnson, was seen almost entirely as sweet little old ladies, however she slaved away for almost her entire career in minor roles until given the leading role of Mrs. Wilberforce (the landlady who accidentally confounds a gang of robbers and would-be murderers) in "The Ladykillers". For it, she won a British Oscar as Best Actress, and a second plum role, in "How to Murder a Rich Uncle", which was to be her last film role.
