Second best-known role, after To Kill a Mockingbird (1962), is as Sport Sharewood in the classic "Twilight Zone" (1959) episode "The Bewitchin' Pool," written by Earl Hamner Jr. ("The Waltons" (1971)), and first aired in 1964.
