John Fiedler Quotes:

Lawyer Daggett: Am I addressing Marshal Reuben J. Cogburn?
Rooster Cogburn: You're addressing him, Chen Lee and General Sterling Price.
Lawyer Daggett: Well... I'll not ask which is which. But I'll identify myself: I am lawyer J. Noble Daggett.
Rooster Cogburn: I'll be damned!
Lawyer Daggett: What?
Rooster Cogburn: Well, you're not... exactly what we expected. You're a little... You're shrunk!
Lawyer Daggett: I'll tell you frankly. I fully intended to have you jailed, and I'm just the man who could do it. But when Mattie told me the straight of the matter, I had second thoughts. I still think you showed poor judgment in this affair, but you're not the scoundrel I took you for. You have my thanks and, with certain reservations, my respect.

Chistopher Robin: It is a nice house, Eeyore, but...
Kanga: It is a lovely house, Eeyore, but...
Piglet: [near tears] It's the best house in the... whole world.
Winnie the Pooh: [whispering] Tell them it's your house, Piglet.
Piglet: No, Pooh. This house belongs to our very dear friend... Owl.
Rabbit: But Piglet, where will you live?
Piglet: [starts to walk away] Well, I guess I shall live... I suppose I shall live...
Winnie the Pooh: [taking Piglet's hand] With me. You shall live with me. Won't you, Piglet?
Piglet: With you? Oh, thank you, Pooh Bear. Of course I will.

Piglet: [as he sails like a kite on his scarf string; repeated line] Oh, dear. Oh, d-d-d-d-dear, dear.

John Fiedler Facts
Served in the U.S. Navy during WWII.

Provided the voice of "Piglet" for the Pooh series from 1968 with "Winnie the Pooh and the Blustery Day" until shortly before his death. Disney himself heard Fiedler's voice and hand-picked the actor. Ironically, Fiedler died one day after voice specialist Paul Winchell, who voiced the role of Tigger.

Diagnosed with cancer, he became a patient of the Lillian Booth Actor's Fund Home in Englewood, New Jersey, in November of 2004 and died there the following June.
