MINI BIO:
Ivan Triesault was an Estonian actor with strained, lined features and darting eyes. He came to America in 1920 to pursue his career as a ballet dancer and mime artist, but became interested in acting and, with the call for foreign types in Hollywood films of the war years, was drawn to the film capital from 1941. Although appearing with some irregularity in films, he became a prolific performer on TV, at first as Slavic menaces, but in later times as scientists and professors. He died from heart failure.
