Dora Bryan Overview:
Character actress, Dora Bryan, was born Dora May Broadbent on Feb 7, 1923 in Southport, England. Bryan died at the age of 91 on Jul 23, 2014 in Hove, England .
MINI BIO:
Dora Bryan was a fluffy blond British actress actress with a pixieish smile, who was nearly always seen as maids or strumpets. Originally from Lancashire, she could vary her high nasal tones effectively enough to suggest the backstreets of Soho or the sidestreets of Southport. A British Academy Award for her fine performance in "A Taste of Honey" did not produce further leading roles for the cinema. Her output diminished considerably thereafter.
